About Attorney Jenny Moore

Immigration law found me before I found it.

Before I went to law school, I worked with nonprofit organizations serving immigrant communities. I watched people navigate a system that felt designed to be confusing. Complicated forms, long waits, unclear answers, and enormous consequences if something went wrong. I saw how much a knowledgeable, attentive advocate could change the outcome. And I knew that was the kind of attorney I wanted to be.

When it came time to choose a practice area, immigration was an easy yes.

A Practice Built on Doing the Right Thing

Cameron Moore Law, PLLC is entirely referral-based. I have never run ads or cold-called anyone for business. Every client who walks through my door was sent by someone who trusted me enough to put my name on it: a former client, a colleague, a friend. That matters to me, and I work every day to deserve it.

My practice is intentionally focused. I take on fewer cases than a larger firm would, because I believe that doing this work well requires actually knowing your clients, their history, their family, their goals, their fears. When you work with me, you are working with me. Not a paralegal. Not a case manager who will hand things off. Me.

I work closely with each client to develop both short-term and long-term immigration strategies, because immigration decisions rarely exist in isolation. A choice you make today can affect what is possible for you five or ten years from now, and I want you to understand that picture fully before we move forward.

What I Bring to Your Case

On the legal side, I am admitted to practice in Massachusetts, before the U.S. Immigration Court (EOIR), and in three federal district courts: the District of Massachusetts, the District of Colorado, and the Northern District of Illinois. That access to federal court is not incidental. It means that when a case needs to be litigated, when USCIS has delayed unreasonably, denied wrongly, or acted outside the bounds of the law, I can take it there. Most immigration attorneys cannot.

I currently serve as Chair of Congressional Relations for AILA New England, the regional chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, where I have also served as State Legislative Relations Liaison. In that role, I work directly with members of Congress and their staff on immigration policy, which means I understand not just how the law reads today, but where it is heading and why.

In 2022, 2023, and 2024, I was selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star, a designation given to the top 2.5% of attorneys in Massachusetts based on peer recognition and professional achievement.

Why I Do This Work

Immigration cases are not abstract legal exercises. They are about whether a family gets to stay together. Whether a person who has built a life here gets to keep it. Whether someone who came to this country in search of safety actually finds it.

I came to this work through nonprofit service, and that foundation has never left me. I approach every case, whether it is a straightforward green card application or a complex federal lawsuit, with the understanding that there is a real person on the other side of every filing, and that getting it right matters.

A Little More About Me

Outside of work, I spend my time with my husband Mike, usually in the middle of a renovation project, out on a hike, or with family. The work-life balance is real, which I think makes me better at what I do.
